UPDATE: Heroes of the Megaverse® is done! You heard right, DONE. I spoke with my printer rep, and she couldn’t give me a definitive release date this soon, but the book looks great and should be ready to ship in two or three weeks! I’m diving into Armageddon Unlimited™ next.
I’ve been informed that my recent Murmur from the Megaverse has some people incorrectly thinking there’s something like 100 superhero NPCs in the book. There are not. I had planned on including 16-20, but only about half that number got squeezed into the book. I just ran out of time and space and need to move on to other projects. But there are rules for turning the names of the 2,000 into super heroes.
I think this is one of the best books I have ever written. It is filled with epic source material, powers, and ideas that should make you smile and want to start a new campaign. As I said in my Murmur, it is a tribute to you – all the heroes who have helped support Palladium Books over the years – so I wanted this book to be something memorable and amazing. Yeah, “amazing” was my goal, so you can imagine my delight when Julius exclaimed the book was “amazing.” Music to my ears. Alex has been gushing about it too.
By the reaction of the folks at Palladium, it appears I have succeeded in making that special title that resonates with gamers of every stripe. The comments I’ve gotten have been exuberant and positive, and have included: “Wow! Amazing!” “It’s awesome.” “It really delivers.” “Worth the wait.” “I love it.” As I’ve stated, I think Heroes of the Megaverse® is one of the best books I have ever written. The guys are always an accurate barometer to fan reaction, but I’m still nervous to get the final feedback from you.
Remember, Heroes of the Megaverse® is designed to be used with any and all of Palladium’s RPG settings whether they are Mega-Damage or S.D.C. That means it’s suitable for Rifts®, Phase World®, Three Galaxies™, Heroes Unlimited™, Ninjas & Superspies™, Nightbane®, the Palladium Fantasy RPG®, Splicers®, Rifts® Chaos Earth™, and all the rest. And not just suitable or adaptable for use in those settings, but designed to fit as if it were written for them.
UPDATE: Armageddon Unlimited™ (for Heroes Unlimited™ and the Minion War™) is the next book on my plate. Interior art is due in the next week or two, and I hope editing and rewrites will come quick and easy. Armageddon Unlimited™ is the perfect follow up to Heroes of the Megaverse® and prelude to Megaverse® in Flames, the last two books in the Minion War™ series. I hope to get the Mark Evans cover any day now.

UPDATE: Dad. Next Tuesday is his surgery. I understand it’s 5-6 hours long, so we’re talking serious stuff. My Dad’s bladder and prostate are being taken out. With any luck, there won’t be complications and he’ll be cancer free after that. Fingers crossed, prayers continuing. I’ll be at the hospital the entire day Tuesday.
